HPL

The High Pressure Laminates (HPL) are finished ready-for-use panels, which boast excellent characteristics of mechanical, physical, chemical resistance and ease of maintenance. The HPL panels consist of several layers of cellulose fibre material, impregnated with thermosetting resins and then subjected to the combined action of pressure and heat exerted in special presses. This process creates a stable, homogeneous, non-porous and high-density material. Given its very low permeability, HPL constitutes a barrier against the possible emissions of formaldehyde and other volatile substances. This is their stratification:OverlayA high transparency paper that makes the laminate surface resistant to abrasion and scratches. The HPL surface should be cleaned with a damp cloth, warm water or mild detergents. Do not use abrasive or strongly alkaline products.
